Currently, SJIC has 4 adult chess classes available: Adult Beginner, Adult Advanced Beginner, Adult Intermediate, and Adult Champion. These classes are designed to help you achieve your chess goals. SJIC’s experienced instructors provide both an engaging and supportive learning environment.
Key Features of the Classes:
- Expert Instruction: Instructors Dov Gorman, a FIDE Master and FIDE Certified Trainer, Rafael Declet, a Class A player, and Nikoloz Managadze, an International Master, are all passionate chess enthusiasts that have been playing chess for decades.
- Interactive Learning: Chess is best learned through practice. After the instructive lesson, all of the classes end with the opportunity to engage in a friendly game of chess with fellow students.
