South Jersey Innovation Center (SJIC) has moved into a bigger, brighter, and better facility! No matter where the Center goes, though, its focus will always be on inspiring creativity and innovation in school age children. To inaugurate the move, SJIC held its first open house at the new location on September 17, 2023, to showcase the space and the many new and returning STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) classes.
Upon arrival, prospective students were enveloped in the world of STEAM. All around the Center, there were interactive stations and engaging demonstrations – the event was buzzing with energy. From robotics and coding to art and financial literacy, there was something for everyone.
A highlight of the open house was the opportunity to meet SJIC’s instructors face to face. They were happy to answer questions about their classes, on topics such as curriculum content and difficulty level. It was clear that SIJC’s instructors are truly passionate about what they teach.
All in all, with an impressive turnout of over 100 enthusiastic visitors, SJIC’s latest open house was a resounding success. SJIC can not be more grateful and excited to begin its Fall classes!
